The reintroduction of the Flash and Green Lantern in the early Silver Age soon resulted in the return of another classic DC idea from the 1940s – the superhero team! Marvel’s Fantastic Four and Avengers comics were proving the team books were popular. So DC not only introduced their own super-team (the Justice League of America) but also brought back the group they were patterned on as well through the use of a concept they called the Multiverse!
