Reconnecting Through Comics
Dan and Duane have been friends for decades. They initially bonded over a love of baseball, and even after Duane and his wife left Fargo, ND for a more reasonable climate the two remained in touch through their friendly (for the most part) competition in various fantasy baseball leagues.
During the pandemic, though, Dan was going a bit stir crazy, and got an idea: Duane had always been a fan of superhero movies and he was an obsessive fantasy video gamer. But he had never read comics. Maybe this was the time to finally get the podcast they had talked about up and running. But instead of baseball, they could talk comics. Dan was a lifetime Moon Knight fan. Duane had never heard of the character. But he agreed to give the crazy plan a try.
The resulting 29 episode review of Moon Knight in print and on TV was a ton of fun for us, and we hope you enjoy it as well!
Duane and Dan start off their run through the history of Moon Knight with a look at his earliest appearances. Is he a villain? A hero? A throwaway character who accidentally took a star turn? Its an episode filled with werewolves, Life Model Decoys, and all the craziness that was 1970s Marvel!
