Why I’m Buying: I like the promise of science and mystery, but really I think it may have been sold because I love this this trippy cover, and I’m interested to see what Junquera has in store for the interior pages.

Why I’m Buying: I don’t really buy superhero books anymore. But I’ve been there for every Legion book published for nearly fifty years, and I ain’t stopping now. That said, I am legitimately excited about this iteration of LoSH. The creative team and their take on the Legion looks really promising!

Why I’m Buying: I like stories where characters experience time dilation. I’m getting pretty picky on post-apocalyptic stories, but this feels sort of like a cross between Methuselah’s Children and Wall-E, and I’m intrigued.
KILL ALL IMMORTALS III – Dark Horse

Why I’m Buying: This one is a slam dunk. Kaplan is one of the best SF writers in comics, and the first two volumes were a bloody lot of fun. I expect this third series will be fantastic too.

Why I’m Buying: This one is mostly speculation (concerning content, not collectability bullshit). There are a lot of names attached, and I like the new DSTLRY-sized format. But if I am truthful, I suspect that the high-tech space whales on the cover were a big part of it. I do dig a good space whale story.
